Answer:	I was also confused about this so I did some research and found out the lower voltage is correct because this has 6 cells instead of the OEM 4 cell battery. Essentially the bigger battery has a lower voltage because it has a more power. Notice the original battery is only 40wh but this one is 65wh. amps x volts = watts Think of a DAM filled up half way and one one filled up to the top. The pressure of the water coming out of the dam is greater when it's full. Therefore you have to restrict the flow.

They cancelled my replacement order and has yet to refund my cost for the returned battery. I bought a replacement battery on Amazon and it works great.
