I have the Asus Rog gaming laptop and a HP Envy. Both are 17" and fit the backpack. They are tight but they do fit. Answer:	Sorry for the delay. I use the remote on an A6000 Sony and it works flawlessly. I am only an occasional user.

You MUST find that feature in the camera menu system and turn it on in order for the remote to work! To shoot the eclipse, I had to reach around to the front of the camera to trigger each photo
