Question:	Can one get replacement cards? I lost one of mine
Answer:	I broke one of my cards. Contacted Pacsafe and they ordered me a new one from Hong Kong I believe.
Question:	is there a possibility that another card of the same manufactured lock can unlock this product
Answer:	You’d have to ask the manufacturer. I wouldn’t know. What I DO know is that I’ve used this padlock on many international flights now and have never had any problems. It is safe (as safe as a key), and way more convenient as one can carry it together alongside credit cards. I love it and will never go back to a padlock with a key for airline travel.
Question:	Can you get several locks 'keyed' to the same card? If I buy 5 locks seems like a pain to carry 5 cards
Answer:	No. If you order locks through Amazon, you'll get the luck of the draw with regard to key patterns. These are one lock per package so that means for five locks, you'd have to carry five cards plus would want to have the five backups somewhere as well. There are no unique markings on the locks that would match them with a specific card so it also means you'd have to either try all five cards on a lock or figure out a way to mark them to distinguish them. I don't know what these older answers are referring to.

Answer:	I no longer have this lock, but as I recall the key card was purple.

Answer:	Very unlikely unless you have a special sized back pack. I tried it just now on my Speedo backpack (normal size) and it was a no go.

Answer:	The cost was substantially less. The internal finish is quite good - firm padding that holds notebook computers solidly in place. The main goal for my use was protection - and that the Alpine Swiss Attache does well.

Answer:	I don't see the H400. This fits the locks on the backpacks and daypacks. There is a PacSafe made for laptop size things and it has a major cable on it. It's more designed for leaving stuff in your hotel room overseas. That could handle a lock that a bolt cutter couldn't cut.

Answer:	Only that my luggage was rifled. No indication on the lock.
Question:	how to set the combo
Answer:	Unshackle the lock (default code should be all zeroes) Pull the TSA key lock tumbler outward and twist one-quarter turn. Set your new combo by aligning numbers with red hash marks on lock body. . Write down new combo. Twist tumbler until is retracts back into lock body. Reshackle lock and push tumbler to ensure that you can unlock the lock with your new combo. If steps fails, consult manual.
Question:	Will this fit into the zipper lock hole of my pacsafe venture sling bag
Answer:	I am unable to answer this question because I cannot find a Pacsafe venture sling bag in an attempt to look at the pull tabs or where the bag would lock. When I enter 'venture sling bag it literally finds page after page of bags of different descriptions. None of which match your question exactly. There is a venturesafe sling bag but the picture is not detailed enough for me to see where this lock would attach. The locking portion of this lock will fit inside a hole about 1/8". I would order one and take a chance. You can always return it. I do, however, love this lock. I have two and use one for my golf bag and suitcase. I have never had an issue with TSA opening the lock and checking the contents of my golf bag (they always leave a note.)

Answer:	No, my Lenovo Thinkpad is 17" x 10.25" and I can't get it to close. This could easily be resolved if they would just add another stop/locking bead about an inch further. I don't need the top to complexity cinch to be secure.

Answer:	I dont believe so. My understanding is that it fits the VentureSafe..cant be certain. I would check their website.
Question:	How do I reset the password
Answer:	Once you have the lock open, pull the button (at the base of the lock) and twist it 90 degrees to jam it. In this position, you can reset to a new code and twist back the button at the base to its normal positions. You should have it in the manual. I will try and upload a pic.

Question:	is the cable actually slash proof and cant be cut
Answer:	The cable is plastic coated braided wire rope, about 3mm in diameter. It could probably be cut with a sharp knife given some effort and time, however, I suspect it could more quickly and easily be cut with a pair of large wire cutters. As with all security devices, its primary use it to deter tampering or theft - a determined thief will find a way to defeat almost any device. This lock is no exception.

Answer:	It is not adjustable after you lock it in and you can do a small loop to a full loop. Very cool lock.
Question:	How do I set a code, it is currently 000 and lost instructions
Answer:	First, you must set the code to whichever one will unlock it. In your case this is "000." Then, with the cable completely retracted, push the silver metal end into the housing of the lock until it clicks into place there. This position will allow you to change the code to whatever you like. Once the new code is entered, pull the silver metal end out again. This sets the new code. You can pull the cable out no matter what the code reads, however, you can only insert the cable-end into the receiver when the correct code is displayed. The cable-end will click into place in the receiver, then you can randomize the code to lock it in place. To release the cable from the locked position, enter the correct code, then press the button on the receiving side to release the cable-end once more. Press the button on the cable-feed side to retract it.

Question:	Does this bag have to be worn cross body
Answer:	No, you can wear it on one shoulder, but it is most secure as a cross body bag, as it cannot be grabbed that way. It was very comfortable as a cross body bag and extremely convenient. We toured with a group and everyone had one and we were all very happy with this purchase. I have since loaned mine to other friends who have travelled and one person bought their own as they liked it that much.
Question:	Can iPad mini fit in this bag
Answer:	I have THIS bag (Pacsafe Metrosage LS100 3L), as well as the smaller iteration of this which can be worn as a crossbody or a hip bag (link below). In the Metrosafe LS100, you can most definitely fit an iPad mini...but not a full-size iPad. The main reason I bought the 3L bag was because I could comfortably stow my mini, as well as all the other stuff that I would bring along while traveling abroad, including a sm bottle of water & flat, mini umbrella. Answer:	The outside pocket is rather small for a water bottle. Maybe a small one may fit but I don't think that is the purpose. Usually my cell phone is in that pocket.

Answer:	There is an inside pocket area behind a zipper that is covered by the flap. So, if you have your ID or money in that pocket a pickpocket would have to undo the front flap and unzip the pocket then reach in and undo another small piece which is a lot of work. I had a pickpocket in Paris try to do just that but it took so long for him to do as there were so many steps that I felt him do it and confronted him.
Question:	What is the weight of this bag
Answer:	I believe it's under a pound when empty. It can hod quite a lot, so I'm sure it can wind up weighing a few pounds, depending on what you're carrying. I have carried quite a bit (including a water bottle and travel umbrella in addition to other "typical" items) and found it to be comfortable to cary the bag crossbody-style and because of the wide strap.

Answer:	I don’t know the diameter of the lock holes on the Pelican case, but i do not think this cable will fit

Answer:	The plastic components are very tough ENGINEERED plastic, not the material of toys and bottles. I have used the 120L bags and the lanyards for many years without a single failure. I routinely replace the supplied 3 digit lock with a brass 4 digit lock by Brinks or Ace Hardware.

Answer:	The material shown in the third picture in the middle of the case adjacent to the iPad is not an integral part of the case - it is a towel or sweater or other object, not a part of the case. The case has no electronics padding.

Answer:	The handle is on top of the bag. It is the same material as the bag but is of stronger construction. Well made, not flimsy at all.

Answer:	Yes. My Nikon D600 with 16-35 zoom fits nicely. If you want a dedicated camera bag, consider the Pacsafe Camsafe V8, which is also excellent.
