Answer:	This is well known brand with great quality items. Think about it as something heavy duty. It will last forever and even used has great resale value on ebay (blows my mind!). These are made either from leather or ballistic nylon. I cannot vouch for leather Tumi items, but ballistic nylon is tough to mess around and will last and look new for years. I am pretty sure if someone will try to slash it they will have hard time. Each pocket and zipper was made with functionality in mind. And of course you are paying for brand name but to be fair, there are no alternatives to this material from other brands.

Answer:	I've owned for roughly 6 months and it's held up very well. It is full leather, and very thick. Not like some of the "leather bags" that are really just pleather. I carry it every day.

Answer:	It will depend if you treat the bag with any oil or conditioner. You can use leather shampoo to keep it from staining your shirt, but research the leather shampoo before useing

Answer:	The leather is definitely homemade but it is not dark as the picture. I was told that leather darkens as it ages so please don't expect a dark textured bag. I hope this helps you! You will love the bag!

Answer:	It is not waterproof in the way plastic or oil inpregnated. It is natural leather which will shed water but will absorb a portion too. The case will keep water off your stuff in the rain but not a flood.
Question:	Will this bag accept a hp 17.3 envy computer, with appropriate protection sleeve
Answer:	I just measured mine, and the main compartment is about 11 inches by 17 inches, conservatively measured. There is a bit of stretch to it, so you could probably squeeze just your laptop in there, but I am fairly sure it would not fit with any kind of sleeve or bag on it (unless it's really snug and thin.) The bag is plenty deep, 3 inches or so.
Question:	Does this bag have a strap on the back that you can slide onto the extendable handle of a suitcase/carryon
Answer:	No, the bag has an adjustable shoulder strap and a handle for hand carrying. The shoulder strap is adjustable. I don't think that adding additional holes for shortening the shoulder strap would make the strap sufficiently short enough to slide over the handle of a suitcase or carry-on bag.

Answer:	It was big enough to fit a medium sized three ring binder and some small folders. However, I absolutely do not recommend this bag. It is extremely poorly made and fell apart immediately. I have never asked for a refund from Amazon before this item and haven't asked for one since. It is the only thing that I have purchased on this site that I have been truly disappointed with.
