Answer:	Not very. The lock isn’t solid steel & it’s fairly easy for anyone with a flathead screwdriver to break open. It took all but a few minutes for someone to break the lock open on mine which rendered it useless as a security box. Very disappointing.

With safety tab still intact SLIDE square button away from numbered dials. This should result in release of latch into the open position. 3. Set Lock Combination - Vaultz® Combination Lock Instructions 1. Leave the latch in the open position. 2. Carefully cut and remove plastic safety tab 3. With latch still in the open position, SLIDE square button in towards numbered dials and HOLD it in this position. While holding the button, set each numbered dial one at a time. 4. Roll numbered dial down until you reach your desired 3 digit combination. Make sure the digits are centered across the middle of the lock assembly. 5. Now it is safe to release button 6. Answer:	I don't know the Samsonite, but from the pictures the Kattee is more rustic. It has a matte/brushed kind of finish, rather than the polished leather, and while it has structure and compartments inside, it isn't all padded and shiny like the Samsonite. I know the Kattee is a great bag, and my boyfriend has been really happy with it. It is stiff and will break in well and last for years. (I hope!) My guess is they are both fantastic, and the Samsonite might transition better to more formal offices, and the Kattee better for day to day or less business suit-y atmospheres. I doubt you can go wrong between the two.

Answer:	I bought this for my fiancee who primarily keeps his iPad in it. I put my 15.4" Hp laptop in to get an idea to answer your question. It fit snugly in the bag with a couple folders also in it. If you plan to only carry your laptop, I think you're fine. But if you planned to carry books and/or a large amount of paperwork in addition to the MacBook, I wouldn't recommend it for that use.

If the laptop was placed in the main compartment, which is slightly lager and not padded on one side, it would fit lengthwise but u would not be able to use the zipper. Overall, quite happy with the bag and would only call out a few areas for improvement; in the main compartment of the bag there is a fabric pocket divider which doesn't have any structure and is more in the way rather than providing usefulness. Also, I have found the main zipper for bag not very necessary given there is a flap with clasps to close it.
