Answer:	The genuine leather smell? Most people buy this bag bc they want a genuinely leather bag. You should have gone with “pleather”.

Answer:	yes. But strap is to long. I had to cut it & bore new holes. The floating pad is also flimsy 7 really doesn't do a good job so I purchased a replacement strap.

Answer:	I've owned for roughly 6 months and it's held up very well. It is full leather, and very thick. Not like some of the "leather bags" that are really just pleather. I carry it every day.

Answer:	It will depend if you treat the bag with any oil or conditioner. You can use leather shampoo to keep it from staining your shirt, but research the leather shampoo before useing

Answer:	It will when I have my computer or books or files in it. It will also stand on its own empty if I have the buckles secured. Answer:	This is well known brand with great quality items. Think about it as something heavy duty. It will last forever and even used has great resale value on ebay (blows my mind!). These are made either from leather or ballistic nylon. I cannot vouch for leather Tumi items, but ballistic nylon is tough to mess around and will last and look new for years. I am pretty sure if someone will try to slash it they will have hard time. Each pocket and zipper was made with functionality in mind. And of course you are paying for brand name but to be fair, there are no alternatives to this material from other brands.

Question:	Does it have pen holders
Answer:	The first one I bought had three small ones on inside pocket...leather straps broke in two weeks. Company replaced bag with one that looks same as original but is different..no pencil holders on this one. Shoulder strap on this one broke after a week...cobbled together shoulder strap from original bag with replacement bag...has lasted a month so far. Bag looks nice with weathered leather but is cheaply made and customer service is a nightmare...sometimes you do get what you pay for.
