Answer:	Throttling is because the TDP of Intel Processors placed into high-performance laptop/mobile platforms rely on marginal resource utilization (base clock frequency of 2.2GHz). It's just not reasonable to expect a 6-core, 12-thread processor to run at boost speeds nearly 2.0GHz over that of base frequency and have a dedicated graphics solution running full-bore too. That's why the TDP rendered 45W isn't based on boost speeds. Tweaking voltages and current limits with Intel Extreme Tuning Utility paired with cooling/chilling pad that aid to force air into the bottom of this machine goes a long way to extract performance from the platform. The density of components in a laptop platform just cannot deliver the expectation many have- that performance is like that of a same-generation desktop processor in mobile format. This is not an Acer-specific symptom of the inaccuracy the processor maker uses, intentionally vague language, to leave folks to assume that expectation that isn't met. By using XTU, you can shift the limit to that of current, rather than thermals; an indication that the chip maker is responsible for your failed expectations. I really like the laptop and really like the Intel CPU inside; but, I had realistic expectations going in.

Answer:	Acer's answer is wrong. I am running a Crucial m.2 NVMe PCIe drive in my E5-576-392H laptop. The slot has only the right-hand "bump" and will accept either a SATA or an NVMe m.2 SSD.

Answer:	I find it most helpful to just search "204pin ddr3l 1600" (works better without quotes) in a search bar (Amazon or other). Nearly every single result will be compatible with this Acer E5-576-392H laptop. After you become familiar with the price ranges, start adding to the search string the number of GB per stick you are looking for. Just make sure that the product title each time truly says 204-pin and either 1600MHz or 1866MHz or 1867MHz. You probably don't want 1333MHz. Sometimes some 240-pin entries sneak in your search, and those won't fit in the 204-pin slot, naturally. Also watch for whether you're getting two or one sticks. I recommend a maxed-out 32GB kit of 2x16GB modules, but if, like me, you can't afford that, a 16GB kit of 2x8GB should last you many years for most uses.

Answer:	I have both and I like the ZD-V better than the F310 overall but here are my pros and cons of each: The F310 has softer pressing buttons and analog sticks, which I prefer, but the F310 has actual triggers on L2 and R2 and I hate those, they are very stiff and awkward to use. The D-Pad is OK, but not great. My F310 just randomly does not work at all and has to be unplugged and re-plugged (since it was new) to get it to function again...for a while. The ZD-V has tighter pressing buttons and analog sticks, and has buttons instead of triggers on L2 and R2, which is probably not "proper" but I prefer it. The D-Pad on this one is very good and Playstation-like. The ZD-V is just more comfortable to use overall. I have had mine for several years and it is still working like new.
