Answer:	I did not use colorant, I left the soap it's lovely honey color. I would think colorant would work as long as it meshes well with the soaps natural color. The soap does not melt in your hand, it's like any other bar of soap and stays solid unless heated up on stove to pour into molds. It doesn't have much of a smell, but you can easily add your favorite scent. It's great soap on its own and fun to melt and pour into your favorite molds.
