Answer:	It was a little difficult for me as well. I recommend starting on the two top corners and then popping it off of the middle. the bottom of the case will come right off. Do the same for the bottom of the laptop. The most important thing is to trust that I will not break.

Answer:	I believe it does a great job of protecting your MacAir. I purchased mine in 2015, it is now 2021, and I have a very cracked and ugly looking case from dropping my laptop on concrete oh about 2018. The case held together and my laptop did not skip a beat. Answer:	I know this thread is old so hopefully you figured it out by now but I just got mine and wanted to give a helpful answer as all the others are not correct. You put the top piece so the three clips are on the on the top of the screen. The side that has two clips fits at the base and side that has three clips fit over the top. You can also see two little indentations where the clips from the bottom half fit into when the laptop is closed.

Answer:	Actually I beg to differ from the other two answers. It perfectly fits the mmgf2ll/a model. One reason it could be sliding off is because the base cover might not have clicked in place. The cover has 4 spots (2 on the sides: near shift keys on both the sides and two at the base: one on either side close to the tracking pad) where it actually holds on to the laptop base to prevent the sliding.

Answer:	No, the case is hard and smooth, although I wouldn't call it slick. You can slide your hand over it without it feeling "stuck", if that makes sense.

Answer:	I have never taken my cover off after I installed it. My MBP had some minor scratches on it and this nice cover made it look new again. You will notice some small tabs that extend a little further around the screen. These tabs are about 1/4" wide and wrap around about 1/64" inch over the screen side. Simply pull those away and peel away the cover. Be careful because some people have broken their cover this way. Good luck.
