| Answer: | Hi, Yes and No. A direct side flush mount USB-C plug will not work. Like any of the other cases on the market if you want to use a direct side mounting USB-C you would have to modify the case buy trimming it. I would not recommend this as it voids the warranty and takes away the integrity of the protective case. The case itself will stop you from fully plugging in the side mount hub. However a dongle type hub will work. Two benefits of a dongle type hub is less stress on the USB-C ports equaling longer life and it still leaves you with three USB-C ports to use for other purposes. | Answer: | I have the iPearl cover for my mid 2012 15 inch MacBook Pro with retina display, and after five years the computer stand fell over and the MacBook fell almost 3 feet with the lid open onto a tile floor. The right front corner of the case was broken but the MacBook was unharmed. I bought a replacement of the same which is still on it. I'm about to get the mid 2018 15 inch MacBook, and I wish there were a 2018 version of the iPearl, which is polycarbonate of a substantial thickness, and also has fold-down rear stands, which raise the rear of the computer about an inch and a quarter, making it easier to use the keyboard and also aiding ventilation. |

| Answer: | I have dropped previous MacBook Pros in similar cases and there is no way they protect it against dents and internal damage. It only protects against scratches. That said, I still buy these because I enjoy the look and scratch protection. This also appears to be the only one that has corner protection on all 4 bottom corners. |

| Answer: | I have to say, I am completely confused by the user and product pictures here not matching at all. Some have the logo, some don't, some have a different logo. The product picture shows the shell going back to and covering the rear corner, most user images do not. I did not buy this because I was unsure what was going to show up in the mail. I ended up with the i-Blason shell, which looks identical to the mfg's product pictures for the Kuzy. |
