Answer:	Actually the main compartment should be able to handle that, based on those dimensions. But it was NOT specifically made for that purpose as some bags are, the ones that have a dedicated compartment for laptops or tablets. Those are lined with a softer material to lessen the likelihood of scratching the screen, but yes it SHOULD fit.

Answer:	Yes it does, but it’s sneaky. There are two zippers on the back, top and bottom. If you leave the bottom zipped it’s a pocket. Otherwise, if you unzip both, it sits on top of luggage.

Answer:	I can't compare it, but I can say it's a 5-Star item. I'm the 'IT Committee' chairperson at the Brookfield Vol. Fire Co., in CT. We recently purchased two laptops for our line officers and the case I chose was the one in question. It's just right! Not overly large, fairly light, tough, has the right configuration and number of compartments and pockets. Basically it's clean, simple and does the job. We like them.
Question:	What are the inside measurements of this case ? I need a minimum of 16 x 11.25 inches inside the case
Answer:	Mine just arrived. The EXTERNAL dimensions are 16.25" x 11.13" x 2.5" thick. I don't know who is measuring this, but I checked carefully with two tape measures. My 16" diagonal screen Toshiba Satellite laptop which is 15" wide and 1.5 thick barely fits. It is difficult to get it in and out of the case and you need an extra hand to remove it to hold the zipper open so it will come out, otherwise it hangs up on the ends. I would say if your laptop is more than about 14.5" wide, get something else. I'm returning this one.
