To reset your combination:

1. Slide button A out to open the lock.
2. Remove the red tab.
3. Beginning on one side, while case is open, you will see the change lever A directly behind the lock. Push in and move the change lever from the normal position to the change position.
4. Set the number to your own personal combination.
5. Without disturbing the combination, move the lever back to the normal position.
6. Repeat on other side.
7. Check to make sure your combination is set right while case is still open.
8. Congratulations, your lock is now set.
9. To open lock, set dials to your combination and slide button A out to open the lock.

I am a notary public and an NSA. I am loving this! Not only does it fit loan packages with legal size docs, I also don't have to worry about a key. Great quality, lots of pockets, lots of room. Answer:	Actual INSIDE dimensions of the pocket are 16 by 11.25 inches . My MacBook Pro and my wife's HP fit in there without any issues and some room to spare. The 15.6 inch measurement comes from a diagonal measurement of laptops. It might be possible but I can't imagine any 15.6 inch laptop not fitting.

Answer:	This bag is more of a heavy nylon canvas material, with vinyl accents. It's a great bag! I use it as my carry on for flights, and it easily carries a laptop and many other office supplies. The retractable shoulder strap is a great feature. This is my second one of this exact same bag, and the first lasted quite a few years. Excellent product!

Question:	How can it be kept looking new? I love the leather and worry about its longevity in spite of the reviews
Answer:	Yes, it is but in certain way. The height is the same pretty much while the width and the thickness is def different. I was on the fence choosing between Alpha 2 (or 3) and Sheppard deluxe and wend with Alpha 3. The main two reasons are capacity and accessibility. The Sheppard model looks slimmer and not so "masculine", but the way main compartment opens it's def not what I wanted. In my opinion it's like bottleneck opening with enough room inside and not enough opening size to get things there. The pockets in Alpha 3 are also has much larger capacity and functionality.

Answer:	I don't understand your question. Its a padlock with TSA keyhole so airport security can open it if needed. I have used it on trips in USA and Asia.
