Answer:	I don't think the dimensions are any different, this can be verified in the product details. I asked the same question but I think I found out that they were the same dimensions. You may be able to fit that size laptop inside, however it may be a slightly tighter fit. My 13inch MacBook fits with a little room to breathe but not all that much

Answer:	No. The top opening is a zipper. The buttoned flap has a small zippered pocket beneath it where I keep things I don't need to get at very often. I keep it unzipped and just reach underneath the flap to get at the small, not-much-used items I keep there.
