Answer:	It will work if you take the cowl cover off and run straps under the cowl, then lock back in place. That’s what I do with my 06 ZZR600 and I’ve had no issues what’s so ever. If your not comfortable doing that, and have to run it around the tail I believe your exhaust would burn the straps

Answer:	I've noticed no drag, because the should straps have extension to seal the air gap between the backpack and your shoulders. However I suppose it depends slightly on the shape of your shoulders and the bag.
