Answer:	You being a para (legal) I presume, a standard Manila folder is ok, a legal size Manila folder, is 2 1/2" longer, definitely not.
Question:	Will this fit the MacBook 15 retina
Answer:	definitely won't cut it for school books. this is meant as a day pack for travel - a change of clothes, kindle, or paperback, travel docs. its bigger than i expected, but it would really only fit 1 textbook, maybe 2 if they were on the small side, not the 3+ that most kids need to carry between classes.
