Answer:	No. Few backpacks are, if only due to their stitching. If you plan to use it in the rain you should get one of those slip-over backpack rain covers.
Question:	How durable is the bottom
Answer:	I have had this backpack for almost a year and use it as a diaper bag for my twins. Where they go, it goes. On an average day it is loaded with clothes, toys, books, wipes, diapers, snacks and any other miscellaneous item my kids "have" to take with them. It gets thrown around, tossed on the floor, dropped in puddles and so much more yet hasn't lost a stitch, gained a tear or frayed in any way. I LOVE this bag and find it incredibly durable.

Answer:	Yes! I use this backpack to carry college textbooks, notebooks, and my lap top (15 inch) with tons of room to spare. I also carry a tablet, coloring books and a marker case because I work nights and needed room for both at work. It carries additional cords, extension cord, ear buds and other accessories to go along with all of the above. My pack weighs about 35 lbs to lift but is light and well balanced on my back. I still have plenty of room to add a sweatshirt. The pack seems to hold up well to the weight and amount of items.

Question:	Does any the retractible handle have several height positions? I see below that fully extended is 20.5inches. What would the shortest extension be
Answer:	I haven't tried it out on a long pull anywhere yet, but the handle does have a shorter position that feels like it will "lock" in place. My measurements are: 37 inches from floor to bottom of t-handle when fully extended and 27 inches from floor to bottom of t-handle in shorter locked position. I hope that helps your decision making.
Question:	Will this fit under an airplane seat? Or only in the overhead bin
Answer:	I have been able to fit this under the seat on SW flights (737), Frontier (Airbus) and United (757 but not in the aisle seat and Embraer regional jet). Hope this helps.
Question:	is it waterproof
Answer:	Very much. My bag went through a rainstorm and all the utilities inside were dry. Just need to remember to place the zippers to one side, because the little gap when the zippers connect are prone to allowing water in, and if they are to the side of the bag, that lessens the chance of water inside greatly.
Question:	Has anyone put this in the overhead bin on those tiny planes that have one seat on one side of the aisle and two seats on the other? I

Answer:	Hard to believe, we know... the price is very low for a long-lasting ceramic coating (1 year+ applied correctly) in a bottle size where you could get 8 applications out of it. Where, comparatively, other products lasting as long typically are much more for far fewer applications. So although it does look like a crazy deal, we assure you, the price is no joke. Rest assured that is the real price.
