Answer:	The lock comes in a little bag attatched to the backpack, it's not already on the zippers. So, if you don't want to use it, just put it aside.

Answer:	I love this bag. I don't use it for a laptop bag though. Just a backpack. Jammed with all my stuff and zipped closed it is only 14 in tall. If the bag was empty, you may be able to get your 15 inch laptop in but with mine full and zipped closed, I stood my 15 inch laptop next to it in the bag would be too short.

It is easier to put it in the main compartment which may have a little less padding but is easier to get it in and out. So the short answer is yes, but not really in the area it is supposed to go.

Question:	any feedback from those who have purchased light colors- does this get dirty quickly? and is it really water proof, or at least resistant
Answer:	I got the light grey/pink one, and it’s not too bad. I bring it with me on the metro so naturally, overtime, it gets slightly darker and dirtier but it’s easy to clean off with soap and water. I wouldn’t say it’s waterproof, but it’s lasted well on me through rain and such!

Answer:	I've got the all black version of this bag and it has no leather at all...not sure about the other colors, but the all black is for sure vegan.
