Question:	Can the drive be configured as bootable
Answer:	No, it does not have lightscribe.
Question:	Are the keys coated in a way that the most-used ones do not show more wear
Answer:	It comes in a slim package, with the drive packed in foam. There is no stand to hold the drive on edge as there is with some other slim-line drives. There is a USB cable with dual USB Type A plugs for the computer/laptop connection, but my drive seems to run fine with only the main one connected. The installation CD includes PowerDVD 3D, LG Burning Tool, Power2Go, PowerProducer, MediaShow, MediaEspresso, and USBFast. I don't use all of these (or even most of them), so I can't say which ones are demo versions. Remember, this is a BD-ROM/DVD-Rewriter. It won't record Blu-Ray discs.
Question:	If you do not use for several months and the batter dies, is your data lost? or can you just plug into computer, recharge battery, then unlock normal
Answer:	No, it won't work when plugged directly into a smart TV. As Moonman1123 stated, you can hook it up to a computer and run video/audio cables from the computer to the TV and use it that way, but if you just need a BluRay player for a smart TV, then I'd suggest going with something like ASIN:B00BFDHV9E this player (personally, I prefer to have the same brand player as my TV, which is LG in my case) or picking up a lower end model from a local store (if you have a smart TV, you can save a bit on the player by getting one without WiFi).

Answer:	The best I can tell it only uses the internet for the program guide and to upload a small part of the program for the skip function if turned on.

If Admin enters an incorrect Admin PIN 10 (ten) consecutive times, then both the User and Admin PINs, the encryption key and all data will be deleted and lost forever. Answer:	By default, the Self-Destruct feature is disabled. To allow the Secure Key to be set with a Self-Destruct PIN, Enter the Admin mode. Answer is yes.
Question:	What's the difference between the Pro2 and Personal
Answer:	Not really an issue. The data stored on the drive is safe even if the drive's battery is stone cold dead. Once you put it back in a powered USB port, the battery will recharge from the port until it is fully charged or you disconnect it. The battery only powers the computer chip that controls access to the encrypted drive and it has nothing to do with the stored data itself. Since you have to plug the device into a USB port to access the data, the only issue is whether the port is powered. If not you can use a standard USB charger to quickly get the battery power restored.

Answer:	You couldn't steal it, if the device loses power for whatever reason it will self lock even with it in this special mode your talking about. Page 13 in the manual Its called Lock-Override Mode. Only if the key is powered separately from a computer like a external usb hub, could it be taken but then if the power is removed for any reason the drive will relock itself. HOWEVER if you read the note very carefully in this section you will see the drive must be powered at all times for this to work and if your so worried about this feature look at page 10 for the feature called Unattended Auto-Lock. This should answer most of peoples trouble in reguards to the Lock-Override feature!

Question:	Does this work with Mac OS
Answer:	After 10 invalid attempts the drive is "locked down" and all user data is NOT ACCESSIBLE (even if you now know the correct password). At this point (after the 10 invalid attempts and drive "lock down") ... you regain access to the USB drive by formatting (initializing) the drive with the in-built software (it loads every time you insert the USB drive). So your original (user) data is LOST after 10 invalid attempt, but the drive is perfectly usable (again) after it has been re-initialized. I would also suggest you get 2 drives of the same type ...copy your critical data to both drives and store 1 drive in another physical location (in case you loose one copy)! Regards, Andrew Acton

Answer:	The fingerprint must be first registered on a computer. Whether or not it can be used on a printer or duplicator device after that depends on whether the device supports two partition USBs.
