Answer:	I tried it in a usb3 dock and didn't get nearly the performance others get hooking directly to sata. About 80Mbps average write speed backing up to capacity with HD video projects. Started out at around 270Mbps but that only lasted the 1st 20 sec or so. I get closer to 100Mbps average throughout with 7200 rpm Seagate laptop drives of same form factor and size. eSata might be a better bet and you won't need an enclosure... no circuitry is exposed as is.

Answer:	If your micro sd card comes with an adapter that you don't want or need, just chuck it. Or put it in a drawer and forget about it. The adapter is just for reading the card in a larger card slot. It's not needed if you have a micro sd slot.

Answer:	Yes, it will work with your GoPro. However, I would recommend something like the SanDisk Extreme Plus or something similar, as it has a much higher transfer rate, especially if you are recording in 4K 60FPS.
