Answer:	I have successfully carried this one in my pocket for about a month. If there were to be a problem I would think dirt in my pockets would be a greater insult than lint. It is attached to my pocket knife and sees whatever the pocket knife is doing.. I have carried other flash drives this way for years with no problem. Other plastic ones have even gone thru the washer and dryer with no problem although I would not recommend this.
