Answer:	You would have to read/write over 300 terabytes, yes TERABYTES, for the ssd to fail. Unless of course you get a bad drive from the start.

Answer:	Yes however you'll require a mounting kit to mount the 2.5" drives into the minitowers internal 3.5" slots.

Answer:	With the SSD you do get a free OEM version of Acronis True Image(available for Windows only, for Mac you can use Time Machine) to clone the SSD with. You would need to have means of connecting the SSD or hard drive to the laptop such as a SATA to USB adapter or USB SATA dock. The best method would be to Download and install Acronis. Once Acronis is installed and activated, get a USB flash drive(at least 2GB in capacity) and use that to create a rescue media drive (instructions on how to do that can be found here, https://kb.acronis.com/content/60820 ). Once the rescue media drive is created, install the new SSD into the laptop and have the original drive connected externally then boot the laptop from the rescue media drive and the clone process will start.

Answer:	The manufacturer said "no" here -- but note you can format this drive as FAT32, NTFS, EXT4, JOURNALED etc -- flash drives are formatted as these various filesystems as well, if your car only requires a FAT32 or ntsc formatted drive, it probably *can* work the way you're wanting, just make sure you format the drive as the filesystem type your car supports, I have NO IDEA why the manufacturer said no

Answer:	There are many factors which could impact your ability to use it in a car stereo, such as the format that the car stereo requires on a USB device, the power of that the Stereo USB is outputting as well as the type of files that it can read. We suggest first consulting the stereo maker to determine what format is required for the stereo to read a USB device as well as the power output of the stereo USB (the PNY Device requires at least 566 Mah for sustainable operation). Question:	Did anyone use this drive as an imac external boot drive
Answer:	I have a late 2013 27" iMac and the drive started going out. I installed MacOS to this drive and have been booting off of it for a few days without any trouble. I booted into recovery (Command + R when starting up) and did the install directly from there. I did reformat this external drive first as another person suggested (I hooked it up to my MacBook Pro), but with the recovery option you do have access to the Disk Utility so I probably could have done it there.

Answer:	My 240 GB drive failed after 32 days (just outside the Amazon return period). I could not get any response from the warranty contact that came with the product. Beware!

Answer:	The website to contact for warranty support looks like it hasn't been updated since 2015. I had a drive fail after 1 month and requested warranty support via the contact link and never heard anything back. The Micro Center rep hasn't answered any questions since May. Beware!
Question:	What is the warranty on the drive
Answer:	It is supposed to be a 3-year warranty. My 240GB drive failed after 32 days (i.e. just outside of the Amazon return period) in my home desktop tower PC. I tried to contact the warranty center provided with the product and never heard anything back. There is no address, e-mail or phone number and the website looks like it hasn't been updated since 2015. I think you should assume that the "true warranty" is just the 30-day return window for Amazon.

Answer:	My review of my PNY CS1311 SSD:http://www.amazon.com/review/R29D6WKLHJCWAB/ref=cm_cr_rdp_permThe performance of any SSD really depends on your computer set up and what potential bottlenecks your system might have. On my computer the PNY SSD (554mbs read/497mbs write) is faster in read/write speeds than my Samsung EVO 850 by about 5% even though the PNY cs1311 is an entry level SSD while the EVO is more mid tier. This SSD DOES NOT come with a SATA cable or mounting bracket. But most SSD's don't come with anything other than the drive itself unless the seller page explicitly says it comes with accessories or you're buying a package deal. But as far as the mounting bracket goes, I have never used one for any of my desktop computers that have an SSD. They are so light and compact that you can just place them easily inside your computer without having to worry about it unless you constantly move your desktop around. But if you don't want your SSD loose inside your desktop, just use a small piece of double stick tape instead of buying a mounting bracket like most of my friends do.
