Answer:	If you are having trouble getting the USB external diskette drive to be recognized in Windows 10, then try plugging it into the USB port before booting up the computer. That worked for me. I was able to access the data on many diskettes and modify files, too. If you still don't see it in Win10, then it might be required to create a shortcut on the desktop for the external diskette drive. I was unable to just plug the drive in while Win10 was already running. PnP compatible? I wonder.

Question:	What kind of cable, and controller card will i need to use this drive? Can you list so i can get this to work for an internal setup
Answer:	I had to extend 2 sets of wires. One was a video plug like what you have on a dvd player. I'm sure you can just buy a cable from the store and plug it in to make it longer. I didn't feel like going to store so I just cut the cable and spliced in wires. If you buy one make sure it has three wires in it if you can. They are very small wires maybe 10 or even 5 amp so somewhere around 18gauge. Same thing with the power wires for the mirror to go to the battery. Had to extend those too. There is a little red wire that is attached to both ends of the video cable that only a few inches long. I have no clue what it is and it works without having to use it so I just taped it off.
Question:	Can I use this as a primary drive for a regular PC
Answer:	Depends on Vehicle and how you run the cable. My run was from rear bumper through body frame, into cab and up to the rear view mirror. Long enough. 2000 Chevy Silverado. Should be more than adequate for most applications.

Answer:	They are not needed...First disconnect your battery negative wire first. Then positive...what i did was the mirror monitor power wire i tapped into my fuse box under dash to a 20amp spot that turns on when ignition is engaged , then grounded the negative to chase of car....ran the video wire thru car under carpet ...i mounted the camera on lic plate the drilled hole behind bumper into wheel well cause i have a subi impreza wrx turbo all wheel drive..i connected the video connections together n power...then the positive n negative from camera i grounded to under chasis n power wire u gota take one of ur tail lights out that has a reverse light n u got have a power tester tool to find out which wire that goes into ur reverse bulb is the positive, splice into it and connect the positive wire to it n use a good onnecter..then hook ir battery back up and test it...when u start your car and put it in reverse your mirror monitor will appear ,,,its awesome hope i helped let me know if you have anymore wuestions or problems...btw there is a 2nd video connection as u can see its if you wanted to hook a second monitor up,,,i love mine its awesome...good luck..email me at [email protected] if u need to..

Question:	Can you verify if the 2.5 form factor is for desktop or laptops
Answer:	Yes, this is a 2.5" HDD and is for laptops. I would know because I recently bought this. Be sure that you do not have an old laptop (circa 2007 or older) that accepts only PATA drives. This is a SATA drive. The larger 3.5" HDD form factor (of which this is not) is for desktops.
Question:	Will it work in a Dell Studio
Answer:	I put my HGST in a 1750 Dell. Should be no problem to put it into a 1735.
Question:	Has anyone used in a PS
Answer:	I bought this for my PS3 (CECHH01) and it does work with a slight adjustment. because this is a 7mm HDD it does not line up correctly with the internal SATA sockets while screwed into the tray. Simply put your PS3 on end and drop the HDD in without the tray and fiddle with it until it falls into place and it will work just fine. because it is not screwed in, I would recommend removing this HDD when transporting the console.

Answer:	The other answer is incorrect. According to Apple https://support.apple.com/kb/sp11?locale=en_US, "Four 3.5-inch cable-free, direct-attach hard drive bays with built-in independent 3Gb/s Serial ATA channels; four internal hard drive carriers included" so it should fit just fine. If you want to be sure beyond a doubt is to simply open your Mac Pro and see if the current hard drive(s) attached are 2.5" or 3.5" but back in 2008 2.5" drives weren't nearly as common. Good luck!
