Answer:	I purchased one of these 64gb Gold and when I entered the info in the Apple Support Web Portal it said I had a full 1 year manufacturer warranty. I then called Apple Care Support and they sent me a link to purchase the Apple Care via email. So, I am good to go for 2 years.

Answer:	Hey Cecil. The model of this iPad is the 12.9" 2nd Generation (2015). Also another warning. My iPad came with a faulty battery which kept draining while being on the charger. So honestly if you aren't tech savvy, I would recommend. Apple wanted almost $150 for the battery replacement.
