Answer:	No it does not. I just received it and it has no USB-C ports at all. It has 2 USB 3 ports and that is all. Normal barrel connector for charging.

Answer:	The Toshiba Chromebook 2 has a back-lit keyboard and its not that expensive. Its 1920x1080p as well.
