Answer:	The SSD type detected now is "NVMe PM961 NVMe SAMSU" and the original configuration per the asset tag shows "SSDR, 512G, P34, 80S3, SAMSUNG, PM961". I tend to think it is the same SSD. Originally the PC was built in 3/20/17. My PC was re-newed on 8/5/19 and all event logs are gone. The only way to make sure it is the original one is to pop the cover and look at mfg date of the SSD.

Answer:	Could be both depends on the seller, I received mine with 1- 8 GB unit and I bought another giving me 16GB (yes 2 slots supporting up to 16 GB units each for 32 GB total). even if it comes with 2 - 4 GB units replace one and get 12 GB.
