Question: how long the battery can run
Answer: Doesn't really matter, this Sony is a piece of crap, mine died twice (screen replaced, then motherboard a few months later) in ten months, then Sony refused to extend the warranty which I requested since there was only two months (of 1 yr) left. The laptop died again before it was 18 (previous typo 10) months old so I was screwed, now ewaste, I am a former Sony customer, will not buy any of their products.
Question: So is this product useful
Answer: As a Vaio it is a good computer but no way would I ever keep windows 8. I am now used to not having separate buttons for the left and right mouse buttons. It takes some getting used to but I do LOVE the back lighting on this system and it has run perfectly since I had windows 7 put on it.

Question: is the keyboard backlit
Answer: Short answer is No. As you know there are regular Blu-ray Discs (some of which may be in 4K), and there are the new “4K Ultra HD” Blu-ray discs. It plays all regular Blu-ray discs, but it DOES NOT play “4K Ultra HD” discs. I purchased one of these, and was under the impression that it did play these discs given the description. It can stream 4K movies, but it is not able to play those “4K Ultra HD” discs. The premium you are paying is for the Solid State Hard Drive, it’s installation, and the proper testing afterwards. If you look at the cost of an SSD drive, and one of those installation kits, it’s actually a pretty good deal. But, the description is misleading regarding 4K Ultra HD discs...
Question: Is this laptop matte or glossy screen
Answer: It’s “HDR” compatible, assuming that your TV is, but I’m not sure about the refresh rate. I believe it’s the same as any other PS4 Pro. This version just has a solid state hard drive installed, which provides faster loading speed, longer life, and everything else that comes with an SSD drive. The original HD is an older technology that has a disc that physically spins when the system is accessing it. Like with all computers, and anything else that requires a hard drive, there are many benefits to having a solid state drive beyond what I have mentioned. But, I’m not sure if it changes the refresh rate.
