However, TB3 drives cannot be connected to USB-C ports on computer. So, this USB-C drive will connect to USB-C ports, Thunderbolt 3 ports, or using included cable, USB 3.0/2.0 ports.

Answer:	there’s a version that is an old school hdd so maybe that’s the one that says 5400 rpm. The sad one is definitely ssd

Answer:	I didn’t do any intentional performance testing, but I was surprised how well it worked using USB3. My bottleneck seemed to be my source, not this SSD drive. I moved roughly 200GB in well under 20 minutes. I ordered 2 of these. Only thing to watch out for is that the Amazon listing indicates Thunderbolt connectivity, but my drive came with USB3 and USB-C. Turned out better for me in the end. Make sure you use the cables that come with the drive. I accidentally pulled a different cable out of my bag and that had a serious performance impact.

Answer:	Both drives offer up to 560MB/s transfer, so appears the main difference is form factor. Pocket-sized portable for the Atom, and a bit larger ruggedized model for BlackBox Plus SSD.
