Answer:	yes, you're going to have to be connected to the network. on the bottom of the modem is a username and password as well as an IP address. it's most likely going to be "192.168.0.1"while being connected to your network, type this IP address in a web browser. enter the username and password as seen on the sticker on the bottom of your modem. once you login, you'll be brought to the homepage of the modem, you'll see three boxes one says "my network"click on that and it'll show all the devices currently connected.hope this helps.

Question:	Does it stay pretty cool gaming
Answer:	Absolutely it has plenty of power for videos and everything that I need to do for my business.
Question:	Why is there no wifi connection
Answer:	Most laptops are plastic top and bottoms since its more flexible and durable. This one is a bit sturdier and the bottom still comes off in one whole piece (which I like when cleaning or when you have to upgrade, don't have to take the whole thing apart, but this one has large rubber mounts on the bottom to keep it off the whatever surface you have it on. My older doesn't have that, just tiny rubber ones to lift it slighly. Metal usually isn't used since it would dent or ding up. I would say that the palm rest is probably the worst but I always clean mine and use an external keyboard and mouse so I don't have to use it. Only when I'm in the field. So yes they are plastic but I wouldn't say cheap, its definitely better then 80 percent of all the other laptops except maybe other gaming ones that are built similar. Hope this helps you!
