Answer:	on a mac, you really need to run it at the full 4k resolution of 3840x2160. if you scale it to a lower resolution to get larger text, the graphics card has to work much harder than it should. in Activity Monitor (looking at the GPU history window), you will see very little work being done by the graphics card at 4k. when i scaled down to a slightly lower resolution, my GPU utilization was around 50%. i wasn't even video editing. i was just writing code. that's the only issue. i use it with an imac. works perfectly.

Question:	Is the freesync (32gk650f-b) version capable of g-sync? i don't see it on the list of compatible monitors on nvidia's site
Answer:	As Seps mentioned, when paired with a 1070+ or 2070+ series NVIDIA card this IS capable of G-Sync... HOWEVER, the catch is it must be manually enabled AND every time the monitor goes to sleep OR the computer gets rebooted it must be manually re-enabled. I bought this one along with a 2070 and while it works with G-Sync it was just too much of a pain and returned it and purchased the G-Sync version. The official G-Sync works perfectly every time without issue. If you’re looking for G-Sync just out the extra for the G-Sync version and you won’t be disappointed. Now if you just wanted it for a work display this one is very nice.

Answer:	The DisplayPort cable that came with the box did not support 144hz at 1440p. The screen blacks out occasionally when gaming if using the included cable. You will need to buy a separate, VESA-quality cable.
