Answer:	If you want to use to fall asleep to you can, but you will feel it on your ear. Also depending how you sleep the cord can get tangled. I prefer the earbuds for this only because I know they will fall out when I fall asleep. Answer:	My Lenovo N22 Chromebook is not touchscreen. To select items on the screen you must use the cursor controlled from the touchpad

Answer:	Have you tried resetting it? If everything else Powers back up, Google how to hard reset this model and try it out to see if works.

Is it a touchscreen

I've used these earphones for ten or 15 years. Yes, those around you can hear depending on the loudness you have chosen and the ambient noise. If you are on a downtown street at lunch time, you can crank the volume as high as you want, and others probably won't notice. If you are in a quiet bedroom late at night, then you will have to turn the volume down to low levels. If you are riding the bus, to be courteous, have the volume no louder than moderate. For the sake of your hearing when you grow up, keep it no louder than you must to enjoy the sound, typically rarely more than 2/3 volume, bearing in mind that these aren't studio earphones, and you will be able to hear car horns, sirens, and others speaking to you. If you want to hear every element of the music with pin-drop clarity, then find a very quiet place to listen (probably not the bus, not the car on a road trip, not riding a bicycle). You can test the hearability of these phones by resting your hand on your knee, palm up, and placing the earphone on your palm. Can you hear it? Then so can people within a meter of you.
