Answer:	If you purchased the turntable from Amazon and could not get the protection plan, you can go back to Amazon customer care with your transaction information, NOT amazon.com, the customer service personnel will definitely take care of it. This transaction must be within a reasonable window of time, otherwise not even Amazon can help. Another approach is to go directly Asurion customer service with your transaction information and purchase a protection plan through them. If you didn’t purchase the turntable from Amazon, but from EBay, you are limited to the terms and conditions from EBay. The last consideration is the gift card itself, was the card expired? Was it for a specific store? Either way, the fact Tharp you were able to make the purchase means that the gift card really didn’t matter, but that the transaction had a problem due the change of card and skipped over the request for a protection plan and in this case Amazon will be more than willing to assist you with the purchase and insurance plan. Answer:	It does not look like the device power is PWM (pulse width modulated) because it is electronically controlled (unlike other resistive or infrared hot plates). However, that's not to say that the power output going in the coil is not duty cycled. Assuming that a power level is indeed achieved by PWM, you should have a circuit that's capable of always delivering 15A and a pan that's thick enough to have some thermal lag.

Answer:	No. The amount of energy required for this much volume to be boiling is more than this unit can give you. That does not mean that eventually (probably after 1 or 2 hours) you will achieve boiling point but there will be heat losses from your container. The heat is generated by the metal that is in contact with the induction coil which is about 4 to 5 inches. The rest of the heat is transferred from that area to the rest of the container via conduction. So, make sure you have a very efficient container (enameled cast iron maybe). Even so, you should probably try doing your brewing in smaller batches. :) ... 8 gallons... c'mon man!

Question:	Why does my smart home plug work on some outlets and not on others? It works fine with my Echo when plugged into one outlet, but not a different one
Answer:	All of the answers that suggest being on "A and B 120 volt sections" are wrong. This device works over WiFi. That old "A and B" advice is for obsolete powerline systems like X-10. Any problems are due to WiFi signal quality. The Smart Plug and Echo do NOT need to be on the same "120 volt section."
Question:	Do I need an Alexa device in the home to control the outlet while we're away
Answer:	As long as you have the app and the outlet is paired with your Alexa app, you can control it through the app (no echo device needed).
Question:	Does it work with a 5g wi-fi or is like the other one you sell that only work with a 2g wi-fi
Answer:	You probably don't want this device to use 5 ghz wi-fi, which has a limited amount of signal channels. 2 ghz wi-fi has fewer channels, running at lower speeds, and is generally conjested with traffic from your neighbor's wifi. You won't, however, notice a difference in lag for a smart plug due it is only using about 1 kilobit per second over a connectionless protocol to activate or deactivate the plug. This plug, running on the 2 ghz wi-fi, means that there is one more channel available on the 5 ghz wi-fi for a device that really needs it, like a TV or a gaming console, which tend to transmit at around 25,000 kilobits per second each.

Answer:	I haven't even installed my smart plug yet and I can already answer this. The plug will turn it on but how would it press the button to brew? Again, I can already say it won't do that. Another answer mentioned using a switch bot. Okay. So smart plug $10-$15 plus switch bot $20 ... Dude, just go buy a coffeemaker with a clock/timer. They've been around FOREVER and will both turn themselves on and brew your coffee for you and you don't even have to make a whole pot. You can get an entire coffee maker for like $25 then use your smart plugs for something else/something that doesn't already have the ability to turn itself on/ect. :)
