Answer:	Very easy - turn off power, flip it over so bottom is up with battery facing away from you. See an oblong hole towards the right side of the bottom of the case, just past the serial number bar code label. In the hole there is plastic slider, carefully, using your finger or a small screwdriver slide the slider to the right, with the slider to the right, the battery is unlocked, holding the back of the battery (back of case, pull the battery straight out - away from the case....you're done. Answer:	I bought the "S" version which is somewhat limiting when wanting to install apps as it has to be from the MS store etc. If you ever want to take it out of the S mode, you cannot go back. I cannot answer your other question about the "ghost manta" as I have not had time to get to know my personal device due to work. Have you tried Googling the term under "what are ghast manta apps on the MS s mode computer"?
