| Answer: | Hello, I was not happy to learn that the warranty in accordance with Dell will be effective at the time the Computer was built (essentially there is no warranty) and, they offered to have me purchase a one, two or three years warranty beginning at prices equal to my purchase cost of the laptop itself for one year coverage - needless-to-say, I did not bite. As to Amazon though, they are GREAT with these purchases and they will firmly warrant the item for 90 days... at least that will give your brother time to evaluated the item. |
