Answer:	Although this may be possible, it's not something I would do. I believe the best, most reliable and fastest, is to use an external hard drive. But I tend to have a massive amount of files on my main machine. If you don't have a lot of stuff, a large USB thumb drive can work pretty well too. Ideally, you back up your computer regularly anyway. You can cloud store if you have no concerns about data mining and use that as a back-up and way to transfer files. Personally, I prefer some "hard connection". Thumb drives are nice if there are groups of files you want to use on other machines. They're cheap and there are some pretty large ones. They can be encrypted too.
