Since this is an x64 machine, the max memory under Win7 Pro should be 192GB. x86 machines have a max of 4GB no matter the OS; Home versions of Win7 have varying limits from 8 to 16. Careful if you're upgrading to 10 that the machine will still handle the max 192GB; I haven't tried that.

Answer:	Not sure what you mean. The laptop is excellent with plenty of power and memory for literally thousands of pictures. The operating system is Windows 10 and we use Microsoft 365 for business software and cloud storage. Never heard of the "S" designation. Great value for the money.
