Answer:	No idea. It's work better than any computer I've ever had and I have two of them, that's all I can tell you.

Answer:	I just double checked my system information - the RAM is 4 GB. This is my first Acer Chromebook, so I don't know anything about an 'original' R13.
Question:	How are the screen hinges? I have an Acer 15 and the hinges went weak so the screen flops over all the time; not sure if it's a model or brand issue
Answer:	I've had mine for over a year, and the R13 hinge is quite good. My only complaint is that the power port is "iffy" - sometimes it charges and sometimes it doesn't.
