You check your old power supply and look at the Voltage which is 5 and next to it is the important value How many amps 1A 2A 3A 4A etc. The SMAKN supply replaces anything up to 4A. If the power supply plug is not the same, you can clip your old power supply plug off and solder it to the new one. There is always a neighbor that will help you solder it if you don't know how.

Question:	is There an extra ssd space
Answer:	This model has one SSD slot which is where the SSD is located. There is not an extra M.2 SSD slot on this model but it does have a slot to add a 2.5" hdd which is accessible from the bottom of the laptop.
Question:	has anyone used this with the oculus rift? I'm switching laptops because mine wont use the dedicated gpu and wanted to make sure this one would work
Answer:	This laptop isn't VR ready based on the steam vr test.

Question:	What is the ram speed? How many cores
Answer:	2133mhz, and the i5 7300HQ is a quad core with 4 threads as wells but if it's perfectly capable for gaming, however if want to do more work station applications then I'd look elsewhere but it's perfect for gaming you will likely want to get a regular hard drive and maybe might want to look into more ram but for the time I have had it I am very pleased with it's preformance (70+ fps on Skyrim special edition with ultra settings on and a lot of graphics mods). Hopefully that helps I can certainly say this is definitely one of the best bang for your buck laptops you can get... currently anyways.
