On the HP 840 G3, you pretty much just have to pop off the back cover and stick it in the only open slot, secured down by just 1 screw. It's pretty easy and only takes a couple minutes. |

I'm not sure about its max memory; the highest offered from HP with this rig is 16GB. If you really need to go above that, two factors affect this: processor type and OS level. Since this is an x64 machine, the max memory under Win7 Pro should be 192GB. x86 machines have a max of 4GB no matter the OS; Home versions of Win7 have varying limits from 8 to 16. Careful if you're upgrading to 10 that the machine will still handle the max 192GB; I haven't tried that. |

It works as wireless, I'm using it now, but a wifi card is cheap and easy to install yourself. Actually you'll save a few dollars by just installing the card yourself. |
