Answer: Yes. I've installed 2 SM951 drives and run SQL IO to validate full performance with both running at the same time. Be sure to install the proper drivers if you use the SM951 drives (hard to find but out there). Without the proper drivers installed you will not get the performance. By going with the 950 Pro, the drivers are easy to install and come with the drives (the SM951 is slightly faster than the 950 Pro, but it is an OEM drive so it doesn't come with the drivers). Looking forward to the new releases by Samsung with larger drives (960 Pro and SM961 and up to 2 TB). Will test them soon to see how they compare.UPDATE: Tests with 960 Pro and 960 Evo. Faster than the 950 Pro! I've even used Server with aggregated storage using the latest configuration options. We are seeing IOPS that we could not touch just a few months ago. Tests run with SQL IO are returning results that are truly amazing.

Answer: It comes bare-bones, no RAM, no hard drives, no OS. You will need to purchase the hard drives (M.2 SSD recommended as boot drive), memory up to 32Gb and the Windows OS. The SSD drive makes it a screamer. Answer: Yes...I created a Windows 10/Linux Mint 18 (dual boot Grub). I installed Windows 10 first....then Linux. Both are super fast IMO on this box, love it. I have had some Windows Video driver issues (hardware too new I guess) but feel this will improve in time.

Answer: It has a single M.2 slot (for an M.2 SSD or an Optane module) and a 9.5mm slot for a HDD (or 8.5mm SSD). You could install an Optane in the M.2 and a 9.5mm SSD however that combination will disappoint you (marginal if any noticeable performance gain from the optane for the added SSD). The Optane was designed to compliment a conventional (or hybrid) 9.5mm HDD. Once installed (and configured), it joins your HDD and the optane into a single drive. It migrates some of the system files from the HDD and acts as a cache for the HDD. Some very important caveats (important ones): - The Optane is designed for Windows 10 (64 bit only) OS - As previously mentioned, it only provides caching to your primary drive - You need to re-migrate files before using any partitioning software on your primary drive I strongly recommend you spend some time on Intel's site (discussing the technology) to decide whether your setup will be well served by the Optane. (Read the white papers carefully) In summary, with the single M.2 slot (which will accommodate either an M.2 SSD OR, an optane module.. not both) you can install a HDD (or hybrid HDD) in the additional 9.5mm slot (with the recommended OS) and really scoot. That is what the Optane technology is all about; performance caching a conventional HDD.

Answer: No overheating issues with mine. I do hear the fan kick on once in a while. The room it's is never over 80f in case that matters. Mine has been on for days at a time.. Keep in mind, I'm using an m2 nvme and not a spinning drive (or any 2.5" drive) and 2 8 GB memory sticks so it's pretty empty.

Answer: no, the details are incorrect. this product has NO ram, NO hd, NO operating system. all will need to be purchased separately and self-installed. please be aware that any but the small m.2 drive WILL NOT FIT. DO NOT EXPECT customer support from intel or the ability to buy needed parts or get specifications from them. my nuc has been a $500 paperweight and my experience with intel horrendous. i will never again purchase anything directly from intel.

Answer: Officially supports 32 GB. I have 64 GB in mine and it works perfectly. I used 2 of Samsung 32GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM Memory Module (260 Pin SODIMM, 1.2V) M471A4G43MB1). Works perfectly. Others have reported no problem with 64 GB.

Answer: I ordered the Intel NUC NUC10i7FNH with 2TB came in 1 week ago, I was presently surprised that it's came with Team Group's NVMe SSD strip, with the OS installed on it. The NUC though provision with extra slot for 2.5" SSD which you could add yourself for a second drive is you want.

Answer: M2. The 2.5” remain open on my unit. M2 is wicked fast for read/write in my photo processing work which is the main use. It is SOO much faster than i5. 4 cores to 12, faster and the M2 vs spinning hard drive. Certain work took 8 hours now takes 30 mins. Delighted with it

Answer: Not very knowledgeable about hdmi classifications 2.0 and such. However the intel nuc nuc6cayh that I have connected to my 4k 55 inch TV does 4k at 60hz. Although I also have a 32 inch connected to it via vga. With the desktop display extended and the max res. Of said 32 inch being 720p at 60hz. I've had to lower the res. On the 55 inch TV to 1080p at 60hz so it would line up better. I hope this information helps you.

Answer: The drivers work as far as I can see, but you want to make sure your monitor is compatible with it. There is a list on the website that shows proven brands. The two ASUS monitors I got for it work fine though. I had to send back the smaller AOC monitors as they didn't work at all.Aside from that, it's a great little machine. I haven't had any audio issues, even with multiple audio inputs and outputs.
