Answer:	Yep, Chrome books use a Linux Back-end so anything that runs on Linux should work on Chrome books, I've used external CD drives for DVDs on my Chrome book.

Answer:	The display is excellent and I have absolutely no buffering problems. This is my second chrome book and is better than the last one which was a HP.

If you send it back to Acer to get it fixed, it's going to take them quite a while to get it back, and I would guess it will probably end up having the same issue before long. It's just my experience with these cheaper laptops, so take my suggestion with a grain of salt. Amazon will work with you to make things right, but they're going to try to push you to send it to Acer to have it repaired. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with Amazon and Acer trying to get a refund after the trackpad stopped working on mine. All I wanted was a refund, because I only had the laptop for two weeks when it broke.

Question:	How bad is the hinge, especially those who have owned the R13 for a while? Really concerned about the flexing noted in the video review
Answer:	I pre-ordered and got mine on the when they first came out. I've not heard of any issues, and it's really too soon to know about any long term durability problems, and just because the hinge cover is a little flexible doesn't mean the actual hinges at the ends will be a problem. The hinge cover is a hollowed out 2 piece plastic tube that houses the wifi and Bluetooth antennas and the the metal hinges are at the ends. I've have an Asus Chromebook flip that uses the same design (though shorter in length) and have opened and closed it thousands of time without any issues. I feel that the flexibility/twisting of the display/lid is of far more concern than the hinge. As with any laptop, you should always open the lid from the center, If you move it while it's open you should carry in one or both back corners (where display and base meet). If you adjust the angle of the display you should do it from the center of the lid or both corners simultaneously. If you turn/ angle the laptop so someone else can see something on the screen you should do it by the base, not the screen. Laptop screens break from impacts, but also from twisting or even squeezing too hard.
