Answer:	There's actually a bracket built onto the inside of lid (can't remember if it's the top or bottom. I think bottom) that your 2.5" drive slides into. It's a tight fit, so no need for screws. It has a short SATA cable that runs to the board and provides both power and data.

Question:	I have a raspberry pi 3 with some games. Can I use it directly with this raspberry pi
Answer:	Yes, absolutely. I tried the Minecraft demo installed on the NUC6CAYS, got hooked and bought the full edition. I mapped a wireless game controller to work with it, which is so much better than the keyboard control. I set a max 40 fps, which it maintains most of the time. It's addictive fun. I upgraded ram to 8 gb, but still running from the EMMC. Migrating to the SSD should make some performance improvement.I bought this NUC to use as a 24/7 DVR. - - fantastic energy savings over the tower I had been using for that purpose. I still transcode on the tower.If I were buying one for gaming, I would go for a more powerful unit, but the NUC6CAYS is fine for Minecraft, if you aren't a hardcore gamer.

Answer:	The fan runs off of 5V only (doesn't know about temp). Pin 2 is 5V and Pin 6 is GND. Your kit should have come with a drawing of the GPIO. Even pins are nearest the outter edge of the case.
Question:	Which way do you want the airflow to go form the fan? Blowing on the board or blowing the air out of the case
Answer:	The case is only held in place with 4 philips screws. It is easy to remove. The case’s built in fan connects to pins 0 and 12.

Answer:	No onboard graphics with the KF
Question:	The kit did not come with instructions. How do I get instructions to put this together
Answer:	The k means the processor is unlocked, meaning that you can overclock it. The f means there are no integrated graphics with the processor, meaning that you need a graphics card. The i9 9900k and kf are exactly the same, except the kf doesn't have integrated graphics.

Answer:	Had this similar situation happen to me. But instead of a solderable chip I had received an old i3 processor "2330m" for a laptop.. i went ahead and got a refund and ordered from bestbuy.

Answer:	The “kf” has the dedicated graphics disabled. Other than that it is the same. Which is why I purchased the “kf” over the “k” because it is cheaper and I have a dedicated GPU so I would never use the intel integrated graphics.

Answer:	Simply put, no standard Raspberry Pi has a RTC. The new "Pi 4 Compute module" *will* have a RTC. ASSUMING you run the Pi on a network, the "NTP" service addresses accurate clock needs, by checking with NTP hosts and updating your clock to correct for periodic drift. If you run your Pi WITHOUT A NETWORK then it is more challenging to maintain time -- but you can either purchase a RTC module, OR a GPS module. Both of these will provide accurate time references to the Pi.

Question:	Why is there no touch function after installing the Raspberry Pi
Answer:	I booted mine up after plugging in the HDMI to a TV and it booted to a Raspberry OS. From there I inserted my SD with an Octoprint image on it and it worked for monitoring my 3D printer. I did not try to run any retro arcade games on it, but im pretty sure it should be fine aside from maybe needing the controller configured and possibly an emulator installation.

Question:	how do you open the case
Answer:	There is a small black insert in the connector of mine that wedges the cable in place. Simply pull gently on the ends of the flat plastic piece in the direction of the cable to loosen it. Remove the cable, then insert the new cable fully and carefully, then push the little black piece back into position. The little black latch piece is attached and won’t fall out. It does not pull out very far, maybe 1mm or less? Just enough to loosen the cable. Be sure the replacement cable is seated fully and squarely before re-latching.

Answer:	First, there may be a plastic tab over the lens. Make sure that has been removed. Sometimes it is not totally obvious. Second, if you look at the body of the lens, it should have screw threads on the body where you can gently screw the lens in or out to focus it. Hope this helps.

Question:	What is the width of the SD card slot, on both the SD and microSD versions
Answer:	Yes it's labeled as a Kingston 8 GB SDHC class 10 card. The card slot is on the bottom of the board and is accessible via an opening on the left side of the case. There are no instructions with the kit so be sure to insert the card with the contacts UP, towards the top of the board. It's a push to latch, push to unlatch type of socket. When it's correctly inserted it does not protrude from the case.
Question:	I am still confused about dimensions on the sd end. will it accept a sandisk extreme pro 64 gb card? v30 class
Answer:	According to the small sheet supplied with the board "This produce shall only be connected to an external power supply rated at 5 VDC and a minimum current of 600-1800mA." A standard USB port will provide a maximum of 500mA so it cannot be powered from a standard USB port. It MIGHT be powered from a USB CHARGING port that can supply 1.8 amps (1800mA) at 5vdc. But most are not rated that high. You would need a charger rated at 5v * 1.8 = 9 watts or above. A typical iPad charger is rated at 10w so that would probably suffice.

Answer:	It's a B+ case that is required to accommodate the new 4 USB port layout. Do not insert the microSD card yet or remove if in the card slot. Insert the back edge of the board under the little tabs on the case bottom. They are on the case bottom, positioned where the back edge screws would go into the board. You get two very tiny screws but they are not used to fasten the board to the case bottom. Then there are two latching posts in the case bottom that go through the front screw holes of the board. Push down gently until both posts latch into place. The board is now very securely attached to the case bottom. It's then easy to hold the board and bottom part of the case in one hand while you apply the heat sinks. Very carefully peel off the white tape to expose the sticky side of the heat sink. The second smaller heat sink must be a spare. It's a very nice case and has a slot for a GPIO ribbon cable and a few other openings on the top.
