Answer:	No, didn't work with my zoom.

Answer:	Depends on what you mean. If you are referring to that USB barrel connector that came with the Smays, eh...it's possible to use it to inject power to the OTG host, but I am pretty sure that the power draw/injection on the Smays will be limited to 500mA, which isn't really enough to charge much beyond older smartphones. For tablets, you are still going to eventually run down your battery, just at a slower rate. As for POE, are you kidding me? You are expecting this $15 microUSB OTG hub/ethernet to initiate a POE protocol handshake, accept 48v of power off the ethernet side and convert it to 5v for injecting back onto the OTG host?!

Answer:	You'd have to check the spec.s, but from my experience with it, it's powered by USB not Ethernet. We (engineering lab) already tried it with a Samsung Galaxy Note S3 and couldn't get it to work. It can power the device, but there's no driver. It's my understanding that it could work if you rooted/jail break the phone, but we weren't successful. We're engineers, but not Android experts; so, just downloaded tools that are readily available.

Question:	Can i install linux on it
Answer:	Yes, I believe so. I am running mine at 2.0Ghz cpu and 750Mhz gpu and I get readings around 35c for my uses. I have not run my Raspberry Pi 4 under continuous heavy load nor do I run the fan via a 5V connector. This is with an ambient temperature around 21c.
Question:	It is the full computer is it good for gaming
Answer:	I had the same problem; I contacted the vendor (Vilros) and they replaced it with no charge. It may have been caused by overtightening the case screws; using the board outside the case worked for a while, but eventually something else went wrong and I'm glad I replaced it.

You either accidentally bought the wrong one or the vendor accidentally - or possibly deliberately depending on vendor - sent you the wrong one. Review your Amazon order and if you should have received the eight gigabyte model talk to Amazon customer support.

Answer:	Python is included in the Raspian operating system along with the Thonny IDE that you'll use as your workspace to do your coding. The SD micro card you'll use to plug into the pi will have all that stuff on it and will set everything up for you the first time you boot it up. Watch those UTube videos and tutorials, they're priceless!

Answer:	No case is included but yes you will need to pop it in a case or just put it on a non-conductive surface. The computer itself is complete other than the SDcard which will need have an image on it and put into the slot.

Minecraft Pi is not the same as Minecraft for PC or a game console... it has the same game mechanics and you can explore/build stuff but is limited in features (but you can dive into the code and modify in ways not easily achieved on other platforms). You’ll want to ensure Minecraft Pi is what you want to play or if you want the full experience only available in the PC version before purchasing but the Raspberry Pi can do so much more than just Minecraft Pi and is a great tool for getting into programming so definitely worth owning one.

Answer:	Most power supplis are global and support 110-220v. So I'm sure it will work...yet, you may just need a plug adapter for the plug type in your region/country. Other than that...should be good to go!

Answer:	Its possible that back in 2016 retropie was already "installed" on the Vilros Raspberry Pi, but if you buy this unit today, retropie is NOT "installed". You get an install file for NOOBS which basically installs Raspian OS when you plug it in and this takes some time, but even Raspian is not already "installed". Manual..1, insert card, plug in all parts, power up last - run noobs - install raspian2, configure internet connection (required)3, install updates4, install retro pie - sticker has been stuck in the manual : code has been updated - please see link above for updated code. this means "go to this web page and download the newest version of retropie."5. run the installer for retro pie. It wont run all by itself.6. configure retropie.7. add some roms. no information is given in the manual and you should not expect it anyway. Short answer is this is going to require some work on your part.You get an 8 page manual of steps which omits that fact that retropie installer does not auto start all on its own. You need to type several lines to get the installer for the newest version of retropie. On the third page of the instructions you are given terminal commands for updating the OS and Downloading the installer for retropie.The instructions then go on to assume that the installer for retropie will launch itself...it does not.To continue enter the following commands into the terminal (remember these are case sensitive):CD RetroPie-setupchmod +x retropie_setup.shsudo ./retropie_setup.shContinue on with the instruction bookletMy advice is.. Question:	Can you connect an external USB hard drive for file storage
Answer:	This is very small gauge hook up wire and is not designed for voltages above 90 or 100 volts. They are fine for 12 to 48 volt systems with low current. Do not use them for 120 volt AC ! The insulation could break down and cause a fire or worse. The intended use is for 3.3 to 12 volt computer connections carrying signals that are low current.

Answer:	Yes, if you cut off the connectors the wires are 7 inches long. They are 9 strand wire and strip cleanly. These are actually 40 conductor ribbon cable with individual connectors on each end. The individual conductors separate easily. There are ten different wire colors.

Answer:	Yes it does. I don't have access to the unit at this time. You can use headers if you want to put on another board.

Answer:	This hat definitely works with Raspberry Pi 3 (Jessie) without giving up the Bluetooth. I went through the Adafruit tutorials too and got mine to work. I also Google searched "raspberry pi 3 serial port enable" and found the post "Configuring The GPIO Serial Port On Raspbian Jessie Including Pi 3 ..." quite helpful. You have to keep in mind that the Adafruit tutorials seem to be written for a Pi 2 (no bluetooth, one serial port) and so the serial port device of the GPIO Tx/Rx pins on a Pi 3 is /dev/serial1 (not /dev/serial0 as described in the tutorial).

Answer:	Simply put, no standard Raspberry Pi has a RTC. The new "Pi 4 Compute module" *will* have a RTC. ASSUMING you run the Pi on a network, the "NTP" service addresses accurate clock needs, by checking with NTP hosts and updating your clock to correct for periodic drift. If you run your Pi WITHOUT A NETWORK then it is more challenging to maintain time -- but you can either purchase a RTC module, OR a GPS module. Both of these will provide accurate time references to the Pi.

Answer:	Basically the same. There is no GUI, you have to image the SD yourself but this includes a very helpful guide for beginners. I chose this because of the controllers.
Question:	how do i run a lower temp its runnig hot
Answer:	No glue or special tools required. The heat sink had double stick tape on them and all you need is a small screw driver which it comes with.
