Answer:	I measured about 44-45 mA with a DMM in the display Vcc line. However, it is a digital load that may fluctuate faster than the DMM can read it. It doesn't seem very power hungry. A set of 8 old 2200 mAh niMH batteries runs this display, an Arduino UNO, a DS3231 RTC, and a PMS5003 AQI sensor for a long time. I don't know how long, but more than I need at one time! In a few weeks of use, I have found absolutely nothing to dislike about this display, and much to like, especially how well it works! Just be sure to use the PCF8574.h library. I tried other libraries with frustrating results.
Question:	Will this display hdmi input without any raspi/usb connection? can i use this as a simple hdmi monitor without touch
Answer:	This device will work with Arduino but it has an I2C interface so you don't use the LiquidCrystal library. You have to use something like the LiquidCrystal_PCF8574 library. There are several other libraries that support LCD displays with I2C interfaces but the one I have used is the above and it works fine.

How to Install Driver to Get Touchscreen Work?

Online installation (Raspberry Pi need to be connected to the Internet)

1)Log onto the Raspberry Pi by Putty SSH (User: pi; Password: raspberry)

2)Download the driver from github then execute the following command

chmod -R 755 LCD-show

cd LCD-show/

sudo ./LCD5-show

3) Wait for a moment after executing, then you can use the corresponding Raspberry LCD.

Question:	Does this screen retains true tone feature
Answer:	No. To retain True Tone you need to reprogram an eprom on the new screen with data from the old screen which requires another device to perform the operation.
Question:	Will this fix the black ink under my screen
Answer:	It fixed my screen when it was cracked, The kit provides the whole top half of the phone so I would guess it will fix the ink as well.
Question:	Do you have to swap over camera
Answer:	Yes,you should remove the earpiece speaker and front sensor assembly to the new screen.Please follow the instructions,it's better to watch a video on Youtube.Any problems,we will try our best to help you.
Question:	When replacing the screen, will I still have True Tone functionality
Answer:	No, you'd have to buy a true tone reprogramming tool as well

Here are some tips during installation:

1.Please disconnect the battery flex cable from the device before installing the new screen. Failure to do will result in the screen not turning on.

2. Do not apply pressure to the corners of the LCD panel.

3. The screws are all different lengths, make sure they are reinstalled back into its original location.

4. Please check the LCD and make sure the flex cable is in good condition and there is no debris on the connector.

5. Be gentle to the flex cable connectors when removing and installing them. DO NOT over-bend or use excessive force which can tear the flex cable.



Problem Solution:

If problems occur after installation. For example: cannot turn on, no touch, flashing, lines on screen etc.

Please make sure flex cable connectors are properly connected to the logicboard and double check all flex cables is in good condition. Then turn off and on the phone.
