DC Motor with L293D and Relay
In this project you will learn how to control a small DC motor by microcontroller board with using a L293D transistor and Relay.
L293D transistor is a very practical chip that can independently control two DC motors. In this experiment, just half of the chip is used. Since most pins on the right side of the chip are used to control the second motor, they will not be used here.
Relays are generally used to switch smaller currents in a control circuit and do not usually control power consuming devices except for small motors and Solenoids that draw low amps. Nonetheless, relays can "control" larger voltages and amperes by having an amplifying effect because a small voltage applied to a relays coil can result in a large voltage being switched by the contacts.

Answer: | Beware of today's gauge sizes like this one, china wire includes rubber jacket measuring its size sold in milimeter diameter, as 10mm, 12mm.. It can be much larger than 2 or 4 AWG with only 12 AWG inside unlike USA AWG that is measure wire itself. Many like these are calling their wire 2,4,6 gauge size wire. Get it, watch for it 4 gauge "Size"? AWG size is never mentioned even.. Today these companies don't simply lie to us advertising complete wire "size" including the rubber cover not actually sold by its true "AWG Gauge" of the internal wire as it's the way metric wire is truly sold. We are supposed to just get screwed over I guess? By not actually selling true #4 AWG Gauge wire in this that's why these only carry 300 amps at best and are SOOO CHEAP, get what you pay for..lol fwiw: My "true" 4 AWG gauge 20ft cables carry 600 amp, weigh near 13 pnds. The best way to know if it's true gauge is look at weight of cables but many hide it or intentionally misprint it at .5 ounces or something more ignorant? These may be real copper but at only half the gauge is why half the amps so you'll freeze your arse off anyway waiting to charge a dead bat...Look' a set of "True" 4 Gauge 20ft cables here..See price for a real 4 gauge copper set.. Answer: | Good day Jose, I am not sure what your problem is with this mini cd, so l will just list some reasons and perhaps you can identify a solution. 1) Because this CD is smaller than the standard size, it can't be inserted directly into the slot of enclosed types of CD drives. The type of CD drive that you need to use are the drives that pop out like a small draw and the disc is then clipped directly onto the centre of the drive, then the drive is pushed closed. All laptop computers use this style of CD. 2) After you insert the mini CD, if it does not run automatically, then click on your desktop icon for "my compuer" and all your drives will be displayed, look for your CD drive icon and click on that, then your CD will run and the files on the disc will be displayed, then click on what ever file you want to see. 3) I can't think of any other issue that you may have, unless you have a faulty CD, however, if this was the case, your computer would report some sort of error messag. Hope this helps |

Answer: | Yes. The RPi4 is compatible with several USB3.0 to SATA enclosures, if your drive is an M.2 SSD. I highly recommend the Argon One M.2 case. The case is very attractive and has an internal M.2 SATA board (via USB3 port). All ports (cabling) are on the rear side; plus it has an internal user-defined 3-level cooling fan, software enabled on/off button, and a magnetic GPIO cover. IMO, this is the best RPi4/SATA case on the market and worth the extra expense. FYI, there's also a smaller non-SATA version. |

Stepper Motor
28BYJ-48 is a standard 5V stepper motor. The gear reduction ratio of 28BYJ-48 motor is 64:1,the rotational speed is about 15rpm. But with higher voltages some software can reach speedsof 25rpm.
Stepper motors can be driven in two fashion using either 4 steps or 8 steps where each step is½ of a 4 step sequence.Using the 4 steps method each step is 11.25 degrees/step with total of 32 steps to rotate once.
Because stepper motors move in small well defined amounts, its position and speed can be accurately controlled.They are widely used in a variety of automatic control systems.
Power Supply Module
The power supply module with a blue/red LED to indicate the presence of power, and an ON / OFF latching switch to control the power to the board. On this particular model and version, the center pin of the barrel socket is positive.
After connecting the wiring and uploading the program, you can use the potentiometer to control the extent of LED blinking.
Touch Module
The touch module is a capacitive touch switch module based on the touch detection IC(TTP223B). Normally, the module outputs a low level. When the module is touched with a finger, the module outputs a high level.
You could install the module in non-metallic materials(such as plastic,glass) with the four mounting holes. It is then covered by a thin piece of non-metallic material. This could be a hidden keys in walls, desk tops and other places.(ensure touch region is correctly located). An advantage of this module is that is simpler than conventional pressure-type keys.
RGB LED Light
LED is a Light Emitting Diode, a semi-conductor which lights when current flows through it. They are widely used in signboards and advertising and increasingly in lighting.
When the project done, LED continuously flashes.

But let me at least give you some info that will guide you towards supplying more information so that I can help. You say that the IDE has a long list of TYPE's. Yes there are 16 of them. Therefore it appears that you are getting an "error" when you try to compile your sketch. Now without seeing your sketch, it is not possible to go any further. But this type of error is because the Controller does not know how to deal with the data that you have entered, and are asking it to act upon. The controller needs to make available the the amount of memory space to store your information and also where to store it, and how it will manipulate it, and therefore it needs to know what "TYPE" of data it is. Now without seeing your sketch , you are the only one who knows "what type of data" it is. Regards |
