4 digit 7 segment display
7 segment displays consist of 7 LEDs, called segments, arranged in the shape of an “8”. Most 7-segment displays actually have 8 segments, with a dot on the right side of the digit that serves as a decimal point. It works with a 3.3 to 6V DC power supply and the digital interface to the micro controller requires 3.3V to 5V. If you run it off a 9V battery, you will need a voltage regulator to power this fingerprint scanner as well as the micro controller. |

DHT11 Temperature and Humidity sensor
DHT11 digital temperature and humidity sensor is a composite sensor which contains a calibrated digital signal output of the temperature and humidity. The dedicated digital modules collection technology and the temperature and humidity sensing technology are applied to ensure that the product has high reliability and excellent long-term stability. The sensor includes a resistive sense of wet components and a NTC temperature measurement devices, and connects with a high-performance 8-bit microcontroller.
HC-SR501 PIR Motion Sensor
PIR sensors allow you to sense motion, almost always used to detect whether a human has moved in or out of the sensors range. They are small, inexpensive, low-power, easy to use and don't wear out. For that reason they are commonly found in appliances and gadgets used in homes or businesses. PIRs are basically made of a pyroelectric sensor, which can detect levels of infrared radiation. Everything emits some low level radiation, and the hotter something is, the more radiation is emitted.
GY-521 Triaxial acceleration triaxial gyroscope sensor
GY-521 six-axis sensor usually consists of two which are accelerometer and gyroscope. The GY-521 is a 6 DOF (Degrees of Freedom) or a six axis IMU sensor, which means that it gives six values as output. Three values from the accelerometer and three from the gyroscope. It is also a sensor based on MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) technology. Both the accelerometer and the gyroscope is embedded inside a single chip. This chip uses I2C (Inter Integrated Circuit) protocol for communication.

DC Motor with L293D and Relay
In this project you will learn how to control a small DC motor by microcontroller board with using a L293D transistor and Relay.
L293D transistor is a very practical chip that can independently control two DC motors. In this experiment, just half of the chip is used. Since most pins on the right side of the chip are used to control the second motor, they will not be used here.
Relays are generally used to switch smaller currents in a control circuit and do not usually control power consuming devices except for small motors and Solenoids that draw low amps. Nonetheless, relays can "control" larger voltages and amperes by having an amplifying effect because a small voltage applied to a relays coil can result in a large voltage being switched by the contacts.

1602 LCD Display Module
This is great LCD display compatible with arduino.
With limited pin resources, your project will quickly run out of resources using normal LCDs. With this I2C interface LCD module, you only need 2 lines (I2C)to display the information.
If you already have I2C devices in your project, this LCD module actually cost no more resources at all. The address can be set 0x2.
74HC595 and Segment Display
Common anode 7-segment display Each segment of the display consists of an LED. So when you use it, you also need use a current-limiting resistor.
Otherwise,LED will be burnt out. In this experiment,we use a common cathode display. As we mentioned above, for common cathode display, connect the common cathode (COM) to GND. When the anode level of a certain segment is high, the segment is on; when the anode level of a certain segment is low, the segment is off.

In this lesson, a simple yet interesting experiment will be conducted, using LEDs to create flowing LED lights. As the name implies, these flowing lights are made up of six LEDs in a row which successively light up and dim one after another like flowing water.
