Answer:	Reformatting this external SSD will not do anything to its cache. In any case, the cache is used only during read/write operations, you can’t directly address it as a user and don’t have to think about it at all. You can reformat in APFS for best Mac performance or use any other scheme you need, including multiple partitions each formatted differently.

Answer:	I would do a clean format of it on the imac first, you can choose exFAT (it will work on both PC and mac) or you can choose Mac OS Extended (HFS+) which is more stable than exFAT, but you will need software on your PC to read/write to the drive. If the PC is your main machine I would just choose exFAT.

Answer:	Performance and longevity, the Blue is faster than the green and has a higher endurance rating (lasts longer). WD Green is essentially the economy line, which tends to also use less power, thus being an ECO line. I wouldn't recommend the green line unless web-browsing and office is the extent of your computer usage. The Blue has 5 times the endurance rating, 400TBW vs 80TBW, which is enough of a difference alone, for me.

Answer:	Yes, PEXM2-130 works without bifurcation motherboards. It shows two drives when install two M.2 NVMe SSDs.
Question:	Does this card require the mb to support pcie bifurcation
Answer:	No. PEXM2-130 doesn't require motherboard to support PCIe bifurcation. PEXM2-130 is powered by ASM2824 PCIe switching controller.
Question:	Will this work in a dell poweredge r
Answer:	Yes, it should work in a DELL Poweredge r710. There are two PCIe x8 slots available with Poweredge r710.
Question:	can someone post screenshots of read write speeds from macpro
Answer:	You can only get the 2500mb/s speed when you install this slot 2 or 1 x16 PCIe slot the rest will capped at 1500mb/s. Mine stopped working in x16 PCIe slot in my 2010 MacPro 5,1

Question:	Can i use the Accelsior S as a boot drive for windows
Answer:	It does NOT work as a boot disk controller on a Dell Precision T7500 with the most current bios, only as a mass storage device. When you go into BIOS it does NOT show up as an option in boot devices. OWC support says the Dell Precision T7500 BIOS does not support their controiller as bootable. There is a youtube video online showing a successful SSD Sata III boot with a competitor's card.
Question:	Will a drive mounted in this have a useable recovery partition? does it show up when holding down option start
Answer:	The partition shows up, & the boot options show up when holding down the option key. The read & right speed, when using an SSD drive, can be up to 500mbps. My Mac partition flys.
Question:	Will this bottleneck an SSD when compared to hooking up directly to a motherboard with sata

Question:	Does it recognises the SSD as an external drive or as a normal one
Answer:	The icon comes up as an external but you can set it as your boot drive and it will function as one. I am running a Mid 2010 Mac Pro on OS X 10.11.
