Answer:	Had the Revision 1.0 of this same board, the VRM is heatsinked (good, LE is not), and it is quite reliable and solid. You will get a higher OC on your FX chip with a 990FX board, but if you're not going to be OC'ing beyond 4.2~4.4ghz (chip-dependant), you don't need to pay more for features you won't use. This board will Crossfire if you need it, though I'd caution against ever doing so unless your game titles you play ALL support it. This chipset is cooled enough by the lower squarish heatsink, and the ports are all easy to get to. Stick to Asus, as all the boards 50$ and up are all-digital VRM's, less heat and more reliability than analog VRM's like are found on MSI's, ECS, Biostar, and some Gigabyte board. Asus also comes with built-in surge resistance and a number of shut-it-down-before-it-explodes safety features. I have an OEM version of the Rev. 1.0 board for about 3 years now with the last year barely getting use but it's stable and has all the features most people would ever need. If you need better board level features or more overclocking, go with an Asus 990FX board, or switch over to an Intel Haswell/Devil's Canyon/Broadwell w/DDR3 (or newer Skylake, not interchangeably though, different socket & uses DDR4 RAM). AMD FX will run most games just fine, if you want the best of the best and money is not a matter, go intel, if budget is a thing, stick with AMD. If it's just email, web browsing, and occasional light gaming, AMD is your best bet. A 6-core 6xxx series FX chip will be fine, a 6300 or 8370E chip will work beautifully as they're 90~95 watts (less heat, more OC room if needed too). A hyper 212 evo cooler also mounts nicely with this board - mount your ram and cpu 1st, apply thermal paste to cpu top, then mount the cooler, then mount the board carefully into a case. You can also do dual channel with 2, 4, or even 3 sticks of RAM on this board, too (2x2gb in one bank, one 4gb stick on another bank, of equal voltage and timing/mhz speed) if you upgrade that way. Very good with RAM compatibility also, I must say. Most all Kingston, Corsair, Crucial ram works right out of the box here and it supports 32gb MAX (8gb sticks DDR3 supported). 1866mhz max on 2 sticks; 3 or 4 sticks 1600mhz max.Skip buying the LE version as it omits certain heatsinks on the VRM (near the CPU) that lengthen the ability of the system to survive under warm conditions for longer. I hope this helps someone, sorry if it's a bit disorganized.If you don't mind the noise of the cpu-fan that's included with the cpu, or it comes with the new WRAITH or other improved OEM AMD cooler, then you don't have to buy the Hyper-212 Evo or similar cpu-cooler. My retired mother heard that OEM-included AMD fan the second I put it in - that won't do, so I re-used another fan to quiet it down for her. SERIOUSLY, THEY'RE LOUD. It's not the motherboard, it's the AMD fan for the processor. Just be warned and save 30~35$ for a good cooler if needed :)

Answer:	Your GTX 950 deserves a better motherboard. Steer away from MicroATX if you can... and from the fact that you already have a 500 Watt PSU, I'd say your case is large enough for a real motherboard. I have the very same card plugged into an ASUS M5A97 with a 550Watt Power Supply. You might spend a few more bucks for the ASUS board, but you will know where the money went.

Answer:	So I personally have overclocked both the cpu and the RAM and have had no issues running intensive games such as PUBG, DOOM and other larger titles. The board comes out of the box running 800MHz so be sure to jump up to at least the factory 1066. Just completed the liquid cooler so planning to push my FX6300 upwards of 4.2 MHz.
