Once the rescue media drive is created, install the new SSD into the laptop and have the original drive connected externally then boot the laptop from the rescue media drive and the clone process will start. |

| Answer: | My review of my PNY CS1311 SSD:http://www.amazon.com/review/R29D6WKLHJCWAB/ref=cm_cr_rdp_permThe performance of any SSD really depends on your computer set up and what potential bottlenecks your system might have. On my computer the PNY SSD (554mbs read/497mbs write) is faster in read/write speeds than my Samsung EVO 850 by about 5% even though the PNY cs1311 is an entry level SSD while the EVO is more mid tier. This SSD DOES NOT come with a SATA cable or mounting bracket. But most SSD's don't come with anything other than the drive itself unless the seller page explicitly says it comes with accessories or you're buying a package deal. But as far as the mounting bracket goes, I have never used one for any of my desktop computers that have an SSD. They are so light and compact that you can just place them easily inside your computer without having to worry about it unless you constantly move your desktop around. But if you don't want your SSD loose inside your desktop, just use a small piece of double stick tape instead of buying a mounting bracket like most of my friends do. |
