The only issue to watch out for is the thickness of your countertops. If they are too thick it will need recessed which can be difficult with granite or similar . |

| Answer: | Just to be clear, you should not be washing your hands with this faucet - that is not its intended usage. The water gets extremely hot (i.e. boiling) and whether or not it mixes with any other water, it is not intended for washing hands. Also, the product does not produce COLD water; rather, it pulls water from your regular tap, and whatever temperature that water is, that's what you get when you pull the "cold" lever - it does not chill your tap water. Again, for that reason, if you wash your hands using the hot lever, you will burn yourself. Finally, this is a very slow flow faucet, as the faucet itself is very thin, so you will not get very good pressure for the purpose of washing hands.
