9 best 360mm radiator
It plays a crucial role in dissipating heat generated by the computer's CPU and/or GPU, providing more efficient cooling than traditional air cooling solutions.
Size: The "360mm" in its name refers to the size of the radiator. It means the radiator has three 120mm fan mounts on it. This size is quite common and offers a good balance between cooling capacity and compatibility with most computer cases.
Coolant Flow: A liquid cooling system consists of a pump, tubing, water block (for the CPU or GPU), and the radiator. The radiator is where the heated coolant from the CPU or GPU block is pumped to be cooled down before it's sent back into the system.
Heat Dissipation: The primary function of the radiator is to dissipate heat. The liquid coolant absorbs the heat from the CPU or GPU, and this heated coolant flows through channels in the radiator. Fans mounted on the radiator blow air through these channels, cooling the liquid, which is then recirculated to absorb more heat.
Fan Compatibility: A 360mm radiator typically accommodates three 120mm fans. It's essential to choose compatible fans with good airflow and static pressure ratings for efficient cooling. Most radiators have standard fan and mounting spacing for easy installation.
Mounting Options: These radiators can be mounted inside computer cases, usually at the top or front, depending on the case design and size. Proper mounting and airflow management are crucial for optimal cooling performance.
Material: Radiators are commonly made of aluminum or copper.Copper radiators tend to have better heat conductivity, but aluminum is lighter and less expensive. The choice of material can affect cooling performance and durability.
Fittings and Tubing: To connect the radiator to the other components of the water cooling loop, you'll need fittings and tubing. These components ensure a leak-free connection between the radiator, water blocks, and pump.
Maintenance: Regular maintenance, such as cleaning dust from the radiator fins and checking for leaks, is essential to keep the cooling system running smoothly and prevent any damage to the computer components.
In summary, a 360mm radiator is an integral part of a water cooling system for computers. It helps dissipate heat generated by the CPU and GPU, improving overall thermal performance. When selecting a radiator, consider factors such as size, material, and fan compatibility to ensure efficient cooling for your PC.

Question: | Should i use only primochill liquid and fittings? i was going to use corsair tubing, fittings, liquid and water block |
Answer: | You can use any fittings and liquid. I used thermaltake fittings and thermaltake liquid with a Corsair water block...and works great. |
Question: | Primochill is not a radiator manufacturer. who oems their rads |
Answer: | I just had my 40mm primochill rad spring a leak on me after about 2 months of use. Not happy. I waited a year to end up building my PC so since it sat in a box 8 months and it’s been that long they don’t care to help me. Going to buy a hardware labs or Corsair radiator. Their slims perform better than these thick ones anyways. |
Question: | How much fluid can one of the 360mm eximosx ultra radiator hold |
Answer: | Approximately 330ml. Individual units can be slightly more or slightly less. |
Question: | Primochill is not a radiator manufacturer. who oems their rads |
Answer: | Its primochill. The make all thier own parts. |

The new Alphacool NexXxos radiators, a name that stands for experience and quality has come to bring a fresh breeze to the radiator market. Following this tradition, the new NexXxos radiators are the first to truly deserve the “Full copper” attribute. All main parts, not only the fins and channels, but the chambers are also made from copper. The radiators are designed to be used with 120mm, 140mm, and 180mm fans and are available in different thicknesses. The choice of 30mm (ST30 series), 45mm (XT45 series), 60mm (UT60 series), and 85mm (Monsta series) offers the perfect radiator for every purpose.
Fin spacing is always an important factor in radiator design. The new series from Alphacool has a fin design which allows it to perform extremely well even with slow-spinning and medium-speed fans. This is not only pleasant thanks to the fact that it avoids unnecessary noise; it also means that the choice of fans that can be used with these radiators is not restricted. Even mounting and installation of fans and radiator grills is easy and versatile with these radiators. Even the dreaded insertion of a screw too far into the radiator does not result in expensive damage. Unlike other radiators, the NexXxos series is equipped with an internal protective ledge which stops the screw before it damages the fins.
These radiators are the result of experience and powerful performance meeting future-oriented design and well-thought through solutions.

User questions & answers
Question: | Are M3 screws included |
Answer: | Yes |
Question: | Do you think this would be enough to cool a 5820K @4.2 and a gtx |
Answer: | I've upgraded to a 6700k running at 4.6 and it cools that just fine. I really can't say for sure if it'll cool both a CPU and video card, probably would be fine is my guess. If you were running 2 1080's then I'd say separate loops for the CPU and GPU's. |
Question: | how much is the Fin spacing |
Answer: | As is the same with all of the Alphacool base model radiators, there are 16 fins per inch. |
Question: | Would 2 of these keep my cpu gpu and ram cooled with efficiency |
Answer: | I have a 420 on top and a 360 on the front and they work great to cool my setup. I have 2x gpu and cpu water cooled. They run at about 31c. Just be mindful not to mix these copper radiators with aluminum other parts. |

The NexXxos radiators are the first to truly deserve the “Full copper” attribute. All main parts, not only the fins and channels, but the chambers are also made from copper. This brings an improvement in performance where other radiators are left without a chance. In structure, the Alphacool NexXxoS X-Flow Radiators differentiate materially from the standard radiators. The X.Flow Radiators are designed for high flow rates. The beveled copper chambers on both sides have an identical structure. This Water is jetting at the same time through all available channels to the other chamber to which it then leaves the radiator. Versatile and easy mounting is one of the main points, on which the research and development department at Alphacool focused. The chamber offers three possibilities for fitting installation on both inlet and outlet (not on the NexXos ST30). Less angled fittings are needed, improving flow rates and offering more mounting possibilities. Here, too, Alphacool provides the popular sizes of the 120mm series. Different thicknesses, 30mm, 45mm and 60 mm underscore the broad spectrum that cover these radiators.
Even mounting and installation of fans and radiator grills is easy and versatile with these radiators: The M3 threads are standard in the radiator sector and available in all lengths at an affordable price. Even the dreaded insertion of a screw too far into the radiator does not result in expensive damage. Unlike other radiators, the NexXxos series is equipped with an internal protective ledge which stops the screw before it damages the fins. User questions & answers
Question: | What are the dimensions in metric? Actual measured in mm |
Answer: | Well, the "bump out" extends 4 cm from the screw holes center point. This includes the end plug. These are not recessed plugs, like on the V2 of their standard radiator flow configuration. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What are the rad dimensions? They are missing from the listing |
Answer: | Technical specifications: Material internal: Mostly copper Material casing: Side panels steel, threads brass, copper chambers Color: Black Dimensions (LxWxH): 400 x 124 x 60 mm, Radiator size: 3x120mm Connection threads: 6 xG1/4“ Outlet Connection threads: 1 x G1/4“ Mounting thread size: M3 Pressure tested: 1.5bar Weight: 1958g Extent of delivery: 1 x Radiator 5 x screw plug 12 x M3x30mm hexagon socket screw 12 x M3x35mm hexagon socket screw |
Question: | Can i swap this rad with the one that came with my alphacool eisbaer 360mm aio? and would this cool better |
Answer: | This radiator will cool better than the one that came with the Eisbaer 360 because it is considerably thicker, providing more surface area to dissipate heat. As for being able to swap it out, that's a tricky question. If the parts for the Eisbaer use G 1/4 fittings, it is possible to swap them, but you're going to have issues getting it to a full fluid level without a reservoir (remember that you have to bleed all the air out, and that can be hard on your pump if it hits an air pocket and runs dry. Similarly, you'll get lower cooling performance the more air that is in your radiator.) My recommendation if you want to upgrade is to take the plunge to a custom loop rather than trying to modify your AIO. If you want to shoot me a message through my Facebook business page Troll's Bridge Customs, I can help you find all the parts you'll need and avoid any pitfalls. |
Question: | Why I need to obtain more screws for push pull configuration? Is suppossed the threads needed for that comes with alphacool radiators as I understand |
Answer: | Yes there are 12 screws in total that comes with the radiator, but in order to use the fans in a "push-pull" mode you will have to purchase more screws unfortunately... You can do a google search for the screws and I recommend buying them in bulk. Sets of 100 are usually the lowest you can go, but you will end up paying WAY more for 10-25 of them at your nearest hardware store if they even have them in stock and don't have to special order them for you.Boltmax is a company I know of online that will honor orders of 100 or more, but most places only deliver in major bulk, so look closely. Also make sure that you are getting the correct length necessary for your fans. Some fans are 25mm and 20mm, so make sure you are positive before purchasing. You should only be paying around $25usd for it all including ship.... |
Question: | Will this fit with 120mm fans (3) in a lian li 011 dynamic xl with an atx motherboard? or is this too big |
Answer: | With fans installed you would need 85mm of clearance for the combined thickness of the radiator and fans. Please measure before purchasing to avoid returns and restocking fees. If I had to guess, it should fit on the bottom of the case or upright next to the MB. I don't think there is enough room on the top. |
